Plenary Speaker, LATC 2022
Dr. McNutt will deliver a Plenary Lecture in March 2023 at the Los Angeles Theology Conference hosted by Biola University and sponsored by Zondervan Academic Press. This year’s conference explores the doctrine of ecclesiology and “Confessing the Church.” Her paper is entitled, “Exilic Ecclesiology: Suffering and Apostolicity in Early Modern Reformed Theology.”

Annual Lecture in Reformation History and Theology, TEDS
Dr. McNutt will be delivering the Annual Lecture in Reformation History and Theology at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School on Nov. 3, 2022 at 11:00 AM. Q+A to follow. Her lecture is entitled, “When Commas Save Lives: The Interplay between Theology and the Reformation Bible in the Interpolation of the Johannine Comma.”
Conference Panelist at the Sixteenth Century Studies Conference
Dr. McNutt will participate in a panel presentation discussing Fortress Press’ forthcoming book, Women and the Reformation (ed. by Dr. Kirsi Sterjna). Her chapter explored Marguerite of Navarre’s contribution to the French Reformation as patron and theologian.

“Martin Luther’s German New Testament: Marking 500 Years of Significance”
September 2022 marks the 500th anniversary of the publication of Luther’s German New Testament (called the “September Testament”), which was the first German translation based on the original languages of the Bible and profoundly influenced the Protestant Reformation. In this masterclass, Dr. Jennifer Powell McNutt will explore the history of Luther’s German New Testament and its significance for the Protestant tradition on this milestone anniversary.
